moral stance.
(fragment 1 & 2)
The irony of individualism in the modern age; seeking uniqueness by attempting to exist freely from the social process when in reality, one contributes to society’s designed order. Surrounded by boxes that codify our lives, and organized systems which tell us when we are allowed to cross the street, or the acceptable time for marriage. Time becomes tangible by regulating daily routines while obligation dominates priorities. Constant surroundings of media depicting the latest, enhanced ways to live and false appearances through social networks instigating catalogued milestones. Connection and the formations of relationships, the importance of touch and physical being. Exhibiting ideal representations so history relies on portrayals etched in technology. ‘Should and should nots’ leave a flawless surface, but with rounder edges, could one discover something deeper?
