Surrendurance

Surrendurance expanded from the interest in agency. We explored the structures and the factors that influence our decisions, such as social class, history, gender, ethnicity, memory etc. We were interested in discovering the constraints that depict the amount of control we have in our experiences. By questioning our ability to surrender to the unknown and determine which conditions allow for the ability to make choices, we created scores that generated movement under these restrictions. In addition, there is also an underlying exploration of mathematical principles (sequences, lines, symmetry, axes, and quantity).
